Casco HQ
The pilot of Coffee & Questions, a walk-in consultation session for artists and designers at the start of their careers. If you want to be sure of a consultation session, we highly recommend you secure an appointment via Erik Uitenbogaard.

On Sunday, 13 January from 11:00–13:00 hrs, we host the pilot of Coffee & Questions, a walk-in consultation session for artists and designers at the start of their careers, organized in tandem with the first Culturele Zondag of 2019 entitled Nieuwjaarsduik, or New Years Dive! We invite (recent) graduates to drop by Casco Art Institute with any burning questions regarding housing, studio spaces, finance, freelance work, networking (and anything else related to artist’s work and wellbeing) for the following experts to address over two hours:

Annette Besseling, in charge of rental at SWK030, and Raymond van der Wiel, Head of Rental at Sophies Kunstprojecten, on living-, working-, and presentation spaces.

Thomas Blondeel, advisor at Smart, on finance, management, and self-employment.

Erik Uitenbogaard, head of diverse economies at Casco Art Institute, on professional networking, artistic entrepreneurship, and the economy.
