Every Act of Struggle: Intrusion and Assembly at de Appel

Save the date for Every Act of Struggle: Intrusion and Assembly at de Appel. Opening on 24 April, it inquires into how cultural institutions confront historical violence and systemic injustice, particularly related to their colonial pasts. The exhibition draws inspiration from the cultural boycott and anti-apartheid movements of the 1960s–1980s. The day after the opening, there is a public program with Noor Abed, Simnikiwe Buhlungu, Chad Cordeiro, Iswanto Hartono, and Pieter Paul Pothoven; curated by the School of Intrusions, de Appel, and the contributing artists.
