From 17 to 22 March at Plaatsmaken in Arnhem, a program by Lenn Cox with Sunflower Soup (SFS) and others takes place. Abandoning the traditional exhibition model, it invites artists, writers, and collectives to lead the way. The multi-day, varied program titled Lente Samenscholing includes a presentation by Zaban Razdar on his recent experiences in the West Bank, as well as a walk through historical sites in Arnhem North. Participants explore locations like an unofficial women’s house and editorial space, while learning about the Umoja Zwarte Vrouwenkrant, an influential Black women’s publication that played a crucial role in documenting the struggles and stories of Black women in the Netherlands, alongside other interconnected narratives.
