In memoriam of art theorist, critic, and influential feminist scholar Marina Vishmidt, who passed away in April 2024, the University of Applied Arts Vienna is organizing the conference What is Infrastructural Critique? Taking place from 29 to 31 October, the event brings together artists, theorists, and former collaborators to commemorate her life and work. Curated by Danny Hayward and Rose-Anne Gush, and co-organized by Annette Krauss among others, the conference features talks, presentations, and moderated discussions that engage with Vishmidt’s ideas.
