On Thursday 22 October, 13:00–14:15, our ecosystem member Janine Armin enters into conversation with artist and HKU MAFA educator Falke Pisano at MU during Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. Titled Banding Together and Regrouping, the talk is part of the series Clinic: Rehearsals for Art and Technology and takes place within the exhibition Slow & Small AI. Drawing on the concept of “heavy processing” developed by scholars T.L. Cowan and Jas Rault, Pisano explores how Trans-Feminist and Queer (TFQ) protocols can inform ethical digital research, and how culture workers might intervene in art education infrastructure. A walk-through of the exhibition with the artists follows. The event is free to attend, with no registration required.
