Coffee & Questions Goes West: support for young creative professionals

14 April 2019, 13:00–15:00
You are welcome on Sunday, 14 April between 13:00 and 15:00 to the second edition of “Coffee & Questions” a walk-in consultation for upcoming artists and designers organized in the context of Culturele Zondag Go West in the Havenloods at the new cultural hotspot ‘De Vrijhaven’ (Nijverheidsweg 6). If you want to be sure of a consultation session, we highly recommend you secure an appointment via Erik Uitenbogaard.

We invite (recent) graduates to drop by ‘De Vrijhaven’ with any burning questions regarding housing, studio spaces, finance, freelance work, networking (and anything else related to artist’s work and wellbeing) for the following experts to address over two hours:

Annette Besseling, De Plaatsmakers, on living-, working-, and presentation spaces.

Kai Slemmer, advisor at Smart, on finance, management, and self-employment.

Constance Uitenbogaard, teacher at the EventAcademie and coordinator of the EventLab at MBO Utrecht, on representation, starting entrepreneurs and acquisition.

Erik Uitenbogaard, head of diverse economies at Casco Art Institute, on professional networking, artistic entrepreneurship, and the economy.

Coffee & Questions is a pilot conceived by Casco Art Institute as part of an initiative of the BK-NU Network (Academiegalerie, BAK basis voor actuele kunst, Casco Art Institute, Expodium, FOTODOK, Impakt) and SWK030.
