Methodologies of Migration is a temporary intervention initiated by Ishani Chatterjee and brought together with a community of migrant artists. Started in 2023, Methodologies of Migration is an ongoing research, a conversation piece, and an ecosystem of reparation driven by a community of creatives (both EU and Non-EU/EEA). The project started as a collaborative approach into navigating the systemic and procedural entities surrounding the topic of migration for self-employed international (Non-EU/EEA) creatives within the Netherlands. While the ethos of the work has always looked at designing parallel systems or methodologies to make processes easier and more transparent, today Ishani welcomes you to the process of making public, a temporary performative experience for all.

Through this experience, the spectator encounters multiple methodologies of working through the system, while keeping in mind the shifting temporalities of it. These focus on engaging with the expressions of precarity, agency, identity, stability, and community. It seeks to understand these expressions as an emotion while bound by the structure of time, information, and accessibility.

The idea is;
The temporary nature becomes a call to action.
The spatial drama remains a sardonic attempt.
The dialogue is a must, to keep the community growing.

Klaar om te spelen of niet?
Ready to play or not?

Read that again.
