Explore tools for collective practice and dissemination! Organized in the context of The Land School, this public workshop, led by artist and HKU MAFA alumnus Jasper Yi Cao of Cactus Press, approaches risograph printing as a way to circulate knowledge and develop shared practices. During this Saturday afternoon we dive into Riso printing through collage, copying, printing, and binding. Bring family photographs, images of plants, memories of time spent in nature or cooking together, or archival images and materials gathered from the exhibition. Together, we turn these materials into a collaborative zine.
The workshop takes place in the Harvest Room, part of the exhibition and a space for gathering and commoning throughout our Autumn program. Among its resources are a study library and a risograph machine. Beginners and experienced printmakers alike are welcome. The workshop lasts approximately three hours and the fee for participation is 20 euros. Capacity is limited, so please RSVP via info@casco.art.
