Organized by MasterPeace as part of the Foodprint project, in collaboration with the Outsiders.
Join us for an afternoon of sustainable food, community, and creativity in our beautiful courtyard-garden in Utrecht. The event serves delicious pancakes made with local and sustainable ingredients, and invites participants to bring their own homemade topping to share and have the chance of winning one of three prize baskets. Whether jam, syrup, fruit compote, chutney, or something completely unexpected, the afternoon opens a space where sustainability also becomes generous, playful, and delicious. Participation also possible without bringing a topping.
The gathering brings together food-making, sharing, and collective tasting as a way of thinking through everyday ecological practices. Visitors engage not only through eating, but also through the ingredients, their origins, and the stories they carry. Throughout the afternoon, a community food fair unfolds where toppings are shared, tasted, and voted on. Small prizes go to the winners, who share what makes their contribution sustainable. Categories include Most Sustainable, Tastiest, and Most Creative.
If bringing a topping, please include a small sign with ingredients used, where they come from, and why they are sustainable. Paper and pens available on site.
