We enter early summer together during the market Land-ing in Relation. We eat together, create together, read together, play together. Everyone is welcome—please bring your kids, family, and friends!

Some highlights of the day’s programme: the Outsiders is organizing a grass weaving workshop for children inspired by Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass, while Mirella Moschella invites people to dye with purple corn. 4 Siblings bring a selection of special seeds and prints, Leštnice brings a conversational element with a deck of cards, and the HKU MAFA students offer a collective art-making workshop that includes a spinning wheel, performance, and more.

We offer plenty of food, as Maria Sujecka guides Polish pierogi making together with her friends Barbara and Natalia, and While-kitchening sets up a bakfiets (cargo bike) full of different dishes and recipes. Since we expect it to be a warm day, Seasonal Neighbours makes fermented drinks to freshen us all, namely borș and kvass.

As part of the discursive programme throughout the day, we present the book launch of Walking_The Vacuum Landscape. Alongside, the Collective Reading Sessions continue upstairs, this time on land and belonging, with a collective input format. Please bring publications or meaningful materials from your personal archive.

We hope to see you during this day of exchange and a (re)turn to the land as a mode of liberatory and restorative practice. The outcomes of the activities are harvested as part of an ongoing collective process and are carried forward into the development of the upcoming Autumn exhibition.
