Workshop co-hosted by Utrecht University’s Critical Pathways Fellowship and Casco Art Institute
6 December 2024, 10:00–16:00 / Casco HQ
Artist and urban researcher Namrata Narendra, another fellow at Critical Pathways, presents a workshop that explores the relationship between humans and their natural environment. The program begins with a Speculative Landscape Walk, where attendees forage across the university campus and reflect on its evolving surroundings while comparing them with historical maps and archival data. The session continues with an interactive Hands-on Imaginative Exploration, where group discussions and visual harvesting map the often unseen environmental elements that shape the landscape, such as groundwater, soil properties, insects, and pipelines. No prior experience is needed. Please RSVP here through the University Utrecht website.
