Collective Intimacy by Maja Bekan

On 26 September, our supervisory board member Maja Bekan’s Collective Intimacy opens at the Salon of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade. The exhibition transforms the gallery into a stage-like environment featuring videos, objects, and texts from Bekan’s ongoing project P for Performance. Working with women from diverse backgrounds, the artist explores how shared experiences of care and collaboration can foster new forms of connection and knowledge. For this presentation, Bekan invites local high school students to take part in collective readings of historical female figures, including WWII partisan Dragica Pravica.
