On Thursday, 27 February at 19:00, Past Disquiet opens at Framer Framed. The exhibition showcases long-term research on neglected histories of politically engaged artists and initiatives, focusing on their role in anti-imperialist solidarity movements from the 1960s to the 1980s – specifically the International Art Exhibition for Palestine, the Museum of Latin American Art in Solidarity with Nicaragua, the International Museum of the Resistance Salvador Allende, and Art Contre/Against Apartheid. The research central to the show is conducted by curators Kristine Khouri and Rasha Salti.
