Publication: cultuur in tijden van corona (with Boekmanstichting & ASOM)

Despite the major problems in the first year of corona, cultural institutions actively changed gears to maintain engagement with their audience. This necessary resilience could be generated with special projects. In this publication, fifteen cultural institutions of a diverse nature and discipline are portrayed. How do the cultural institutions experience the corona crisis, and what do they see as opportunities for the future? The portraits offer a varied and in-depth insight into the exceptional circumstances cultural institutions face throughout the Netherlands.

Including our director Binna Choi, a total of fifteen portraits can be read, which features representatives from Stadskamer, De Vaillant, Het HEM, De Domijnen, Tomorrow’s Language, LUX, HipHopHuis, Concordia, CBK Zeeland, EMOVES, BUOG, BredaPhoto, ICO and Kunstlinie.

This is a publication of the BNG Cultuurfonds and was created in collaboration with the Boekman Foundation, ASOM and Casco Art Institute: Working for the Commons. The portraits have been compiled by professor emeritus Giep Hagoort (coordination), Jan Jaap Knol (supervision), Sabine Zwart (final editing) and our Erik Uitenbogaard. The photography was provided by Michel Groen and the design by Bertine Colsen.
