We’re delighted to share our poster campaign & announce this brand new website where you can explore, study and get involved with Casco.

With ‘C-words for the Commons’ we want to translate concepts related to the commons through six sparkling and evocative illustrations by Utrecht-based illustrators Leyla Ali, Manon Bijkerk (La Nonette), Katja Fred, Doeke van Nuil, Munir de Vries and Lonneke Weuring.

These six C-words are resourced from the Commons Lexicon that was developed for and by Casco’s third annual Assembly edition in December 2020 titled We Owe Each Other Everything. The Assembly addressed various forms of collective art practice and the question of their resilience, with contributions by groups from across the world, including Utrecht, Singapore, London, Warsaw, Kampala, and Medellín.
