Friday, 16 May 2025, 12:00–15:00 / Casco HQ
We are organizing a tour of Sensing the Ways together with IN Gebaren, inviting D/deaf and hard of hearing communities to experience the exhibition and engage in conversation at Casco.
IN Gebaren is a Netherlands-based organization committed to improving accessibility in the arts, raising awareness of the challenges D/deaf individuals face in the cultural sector, and working to bridge this gap through guided tours, community building, and inclusive programming.
The day’s program is facilitated by Casco team members Naomi de Bruijn and Luke Cohlen, with Dutch Sign Language (NGT) interpretation provided by Luca Konrad and Yvonne Jobse.
To attend, please RSVP via luke@casco.art.
We further invite you to read our Access Note. We recognize that accessibility is not a fixed goal but a broad, continuous practice—one that requires care, reflection, and sustained attention within a structurally broken system, including on our part. As we continue the process of learning (and unlearning), we aim to remain committed to this field that continues to be too often overlooked.
